We drove like pros!!

Okay, this trip was amazing. After getting off the bus, and filling out the legal mumbo jumbo paperwork, we were split into 3 groups and set loose on the Racetrack! Just kidding, we were accompanied at all times by the professional staff at Spring Mountain Motorsports.

We got to drive what they call a 'TAG Kart', which is more than just a cart on steroids, it's a heart pounding drive in a kart with one inch of ground clearance, nearly 100 mph top speeds, and 3 g's of cornering force...in other words, we went REALLY FAST and we were REALLY LOW TO THE GROUND!

Next, we had real life professional Race Car Drivers take us for a "spin' around the track that surrounds the property. And yes, they went REALLY FAST and the tires squealed just like at a 'real race'.

Believe it or not, they then let us DRIVE RACE CARS OURSELVES!! AND told us we were being TIMED for a TEAM CHALLENGE! Now THAT was really awesome, avoiding the cones, keeping the speed up so our team would win, hearing the roar of the crowd as we crossed the finish line, chanting our names...

As if we didn't already have enough fun, we were then transferred to the beautiful Clubhouse and treated to a DELICIOUS Buffet dinner. The music was entertaining and the audience participation made it that much better. And of course, there was plenty of FOSTERS BEER to go around.
